The Jubilee Club

The Chaddesden Jubilee Club.

From its first meeting in 2006 The Jubilee Club on Chaddesden Lane has been the home of The Chaddesden Historical Group and without the friendship and support shown to us by the Chairman, the Committee, Stewards and all the Staff we would not be enjoying the popularity that we do today.

The Club was formed in 1935 and the first entry in the minutes book states, ”The constitution of this club was formed with a proposal form containing 45 signatures and it was agreed to call a meeting on 2nd June 1935.”

The Club have just launched a website, that, as well as administrative details and entertainment bookings, will also include a comprehensive history covering the last 77 years.

We wish everyone at The Jubilee Club the very best of luck with the project and here’s to the next 77 years. Please follow this link to their website.  http://www.chaddjubilee.co.uk/
