75 years on. The bombs on Chaddesden Park.

I had forgotten that the 12th/13th of December this year (2015) sees the 75th anniversary of the bombs dropping on and around Chaddesden Park. Until, that is, I received an email from the Rev Basil Denno enclosing the article he wrote some 23 years ago. The information he enclosed in his message as well as his report are of such interest that I have included his message to me as a lead in to his article.
